The process is environmentally friendly and does not require the use of hazardous substances. PVD coatings can be single-layer or multilayer, with a gradient structure or nanostructured. Such architecture significantly improves adhesion to the substrate and increases the mechanical strength and wear resistance of the coating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-04199289 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PVD coatings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wear-resistant, with a low coefficient of friction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chemically inert.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attractive in appearance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Very thin and do not significantly affect the dimensions of the component.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chromium-containing coatings provide corrosion protection for steels.
